NetBeans is an open-source IDE used for creating Java applications, along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and C/ C++ based applications. The IDE helps develop RESTful web services and SOAP-based web services from JPA unit patterns and classes or a database, and WSDL files or Java classes, respectively. It is also capable in converting the SOAP based web services into RESTful service resources.
It has wizard-based installation for MaxOSX, OpenVMS, Windows, Solaris and Linux. NetBeans provides powerful debugging tools such as HTTP monitor and in-built Tomcat server.
