My Eclipse is a Eclipse open-source platform based IDE, used for Java EE, J2EE, Ajax, web, enterprises and mobile development, maintained by Genuitec. This IDE is used for both open source code and proprietary purposes. There are two versions of the My Eclipse – the Blue Edition and My Eclipse Spring Edition.
It has built-in mobile web simulator for testing, wizard-based native Android and iOS app builds and HTML5. My Eclipse is compatible with the IBM RAD projects. It can import projects from WSAD 5.1 to RAD 8.5, and with ‘One-click migration’ implements them instantly.
Unlike Eclipse IDE, the integrated sandbox of My Eclipse includes Derby server and Tomcat application servers with sample database for fast prototyping or testing. With My Eclipse, you don’t need additional downloads as its customizable framework based built-in libraries automatically configure during project development.
For configuration, it supports over 50 Application Server Connectors such as Jboos, WebSphere, GlassFish, Weblogic etc. My Eclipse’s REST Explorer and Wizards enable REST web services testing with the IDE, and allow developing and editing REST facades respectively. At Let Us Code, we offer My Eclipse applications and plug-in development solutions for both proprietary and open markets.
